BEMS Community Solar Landfill
We're excited to share the highlight of the commercial operation of our 10 MW DC BEMS community solar landfill project, located on the Big Hill Landfill in Southampton, N.J. This pioneering project is a first in New Jersey, featuring two 5 MW solar systems atop a landfill and spanning across two utility territories.
The Big Hill Landfill initiative is a significant addition to CEP Renewables' portfolio, which now boasts over 150 MW of solar projects developed in New Jersey. It also aligns with the state's ambitious goal of achieving 100% clean electricity by 2035.
